Tanya Diantha Mote (she/her) is a nonprofit executive, consultant, coach, and author with 25 years of nonprofit and leadership experience. Throughout her career, Tanya has used her gifts to guide and facilitate powerful, heart-centered, mission driven growth for organizations and individuals. Tanya’s personal mission is to cultivate abundance and vibrant wellness through intuitive leadership and radiant living.
As a coach and consultant, Tanya’s energy, enthusiasm, and strategic strategic facilitation has led to resounding success for the organizations and individuals she has partnered with. Tanya is a fundraiser with heart who leads multimillion-dollar fundraising campaigns, organizes community initiatives, and facilitates engaged organizational cultures. She has worked in every area of nonprofits, this well-rounded experience leads her to see the challenges and opportunities from a unique lens and bring creative solutions in strategic oversight, financial stewardship, and philanthropic initiatives to support nonprofit missions. Her approach is based on empathy, intuition, connection and positivity. She excels at connecting individuals, foundations, and businesses with ways to support the community that feel meaningful and support community goals.
Tanya leads organizations and individuals to become who they truly want to be, to envision and enact their vision. Tanya is a leader who truly listens and facilitates a journey from vision to reality. She offers workshops, trainings, speaking engagements, individual and business coaching.
She is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) through CFRE International. She attended University of Washington to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Anthropology, and earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University.
Tanya has been the Executive Director of the South Puget Sound Community College Foundation since 2014 where she actively works to close the equity gap and support student success through partnering with individuals and businesses to build a thriving educational system and empowered community. She is on the board of the Mayday Foundation, and a member of Olympia Rotary, Olympia Rotary’s Anti-racist Task force, South Sound Partners for Philanthropy, Washington Advancement Directors, Thurston Thrives Coordinating Council, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Tanya lives in Olympia, Washington with her family. She is a mother of teenagers who inspire her to make the world a healthy, inclusive, inspired community for all. Tanya walks in the woods daily, and enjoys creating art, such as paintings, mosaics, and poetry.
